10-12 Ottumwa Homecoming Parade and Coronation

The Ottumwa Community School District celebrated its annual homecoming week with a parade through downtown and a coronation ceremony of its High School Homecoming King and Queen at Central Park in Ottumwa, Iowa, on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2022. This year’s theme was “Back to the ‘80s” and the week culminates with the homecoming football game between the Ottumwa Bulldogs and Des Moines North on Friday at 7:30 p.m. The homecoming dance will follow. Other events this week include Friday’s pep assembly and the hall of fame banquet at the Career Campus.
